The Faculty of Medical Sciences at Eben-Ezer University of Minembwe (UEMI) was created in 2008 with one department of public health. In 2012, the faculty expanded its courses and organized two more departments of Nursing and Community Health. The Faculty has trained many hundreds medical technicians serving in various medical institutions. It is committed to train students for quality and relevant services to local communities but also to make them competitive in the marketplace and scientific researches. Students learn to save lives by dealing with preventable and curable diseases. Students specialize in planning and management of health care; hospital and clinical orientation and in epidemiological awareness.
